1973: The Riva Group purchases two lots in the town of Sainte-Catherine. Beginning of the construction of a scrap metal recycling plant powered by four 100% electric overhead cranes.
1975: Certificate of approval from the Department of the Environment and construction of administrative offices.
1976: Start of production of a Hammermills 3000 H.P. crusher with a capacity of 60 tonnes per hour.
1977: Implementation of a wet chamber dust collection system to capture fine particulate matter.
1978: Building of a garage.
1981: Creation of a conveyor for loading ships
1983: Construction of a non-ferrous recovery system.
2012 to 2014 : Repairs and upgrades to the production lines and to various plant workstations to meet current health and safety standards.
2019: Construction of a building to cover automotive residues and upgrade of the storm and sanitary system to be up to environmental standards.
